Excellency, I warmly felicitate you on your leading the Labour Party to a notable victory in the just concluded general elections in Australia. As you assume the office of Prime Minister, I on behalf of the Government and the people of Pakistan extend to you our sincere good wishes for your success in achieving the objectives of your new Government. I take this opportunity to wish you good health as well as continued progress and prosperity for the people of Australia and express the sincere hope that in the coming days our two countries will work in close cooperation to further strengthen and expand the ties that exist between them.
