In his message to the President of Czechoslovakia, Gen. Ludvik Svoboda, the President said:

“We have been deeply shocked to learn of the air crash near Czczecin which resulted in the loss of may precious lives including Mr. Radko Baska, Czechoslovak interior Minister, on behalf of the Government and the people of Pakistan and on my own behalf I convey to Your Excellency and to the members of the bereaved family our heartfelt sympathies and condolences on this tragic accident.”

A similar message was addressed to the President of Poland, His Excellency Mr. Henryk Jablonski.
